Selection Process

Applying for a Position

Open positions at Archemix can be found on our website. We also advertise job openings on third-party websites and in print publications.

If you are interested in applying for a position at Archemix, please fill out the form associated with the job of interest. The form will allow you to submit one (1) pdf file that should contain your cover letter and CV.

Evaluating Candidates

Upon receipt of your cover letter and CV, we will evaluate your qualifications against our current staffing needs. If we determine that your background is an appropriate fit to our needs, we will contact you directly. All other candidates will be notified via email or postal mail.

Initial Contact

Qualified candidates will be contacted via telephone for an initial screening and introduction. At this time, they may be invited to meet with some of our team members in order to determine the level of mutual interest. Scientists and research associates may be asked to provide a presentation during their visit. If the initial visit does not yield all of the necessary information needed to make a decision, the candidate may be invited back to Archemix for subsequent visits.

In cases where a candidate is located out of state, we may ask the candidate to supply references before making travel arrangements for a visit to Archemix.

Hiring

Following the initial meeting(s), the interview team will make a decision regarding an offer of employment. If we decide to pursue a potential offer, we will thoroughly check the candidate's references. If satisfactory references are obtained, we may offer the candidate the position.
